With influences ranging all the way from Woody Guthrie, through Michelle Shocked, Neil Young, and David Bowie, my music is a pretty eclectic mix! For me, it's not about trying to follow a particular style, but about letting your musical exposure drive your style and direction.

I've been playing and writing music for around twenty-five years now and my style tends to be based largely around folksy, acoustic guitar songs, with a touch of harmonica here and there to add effect. That said, occasionally I find the need for something more raw and electric when I'm writing, and that's when I crank out the full band sound that is characteristic of a couple of tracks along the way.

You can listen to or buy my debut album - "Don't Need Roads" using the links on the right side-bar of this page. If you want to make comments or have a more interactive experience you can visit my Facebook Page.

"Don't Need Roads" was released on 31st December 2012 and contains a good cross section of the kind of music I've been writing and producing over the last couple of decades - songs range from to my days at School and University, right through to tracks that were written in the days leading up to the release of the album.

Work has already begun on the next album although I don't yet have any kind of idea when it will emerge, but as I cut tracks leading up to that, rough cuts and demo's will be made available on my site, so watch this space if you want to keep up with what's going on!
